Apr 28, Tue, 7 pm: City Council Legislative Meeting, Council Chambers (City Hall), 301 King St. Topic – Preliminary Add/Delete List Discussion. This week is your last chance to express your views. Contact city council members using the online “Call-Click-Connect” system.

Apr 30, Thu, 7 pm: The Effects of Screen Time, a special presentation by School Psychologist Anna Tush and Claudia Lopez, School Psychologist Intern. Childcare provided.

May 1, Fri: Charles Barrett Gives Back!

2:45–3:45: School Cleanup Effort: In the spirit of Earth Day, come show your Panda Pride by weeding, collecting trash, spreading mulch, and cleaning up. Please meet in the Barrett Garden following dismissal. Students and adults are welcome to join the effort.  And then…

3:45–4:30: Fun Run to raise funds for a school in Washington DC.  In the spirit of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, students will run to raise money to purchase PE equipment for a DC school. May 4–8, Mon – Fri:  School Appreciation Week

May 4–10, Mon – Sun: CB Celebrates Screen-Free Week with educational activities and incentives to help students unplug and discover fun, screen-free activities (school work/assignments not included).

May 9, Sat, 3 – 6 pm:  Barrett Bazaar, playing fields outside the Rec Center.  Save the date for the spring carnival!  Family fun includes a giant obstacle course, moon bounce, pony rides, face painting, cupcake walk, other games, raffles and crafts.
