Carpenter Shelter – First Dinner Oct 26

Please join us in extending a hand of service to the Carpenter‘s Shelter on October 26th. This date overlaps with CETA night. If you are interested and need to leave a little early, just let us know in the registration comments.

Please register for any of these three ways to support by clicking on the links:

  1. TIME – Please join us in service. The team of 5-6 will prepare and serve a hot dinner.
  2. COOK – Please share your talents in preparing one of the dishes requested below. Dishes should be dropped by 3319 Valley Drive by no later than 4pm on the day of service.
  3. GIVE – Financial contributions go directly toward purchase of food for this and future dinners. Donate in one of three ways:
    1. Send your donation in your child’s green folder in an envelope marked “PTA Treasurer – Carpenter‘s Shelter
    2. Pay via PayPal at CBESPTA.org
    3. Share directly with Marisa Powell (Nora – 3rd) or Suzanne McGovern (Connor – 3rd)


The local Alexandria Carpenter‘s Shelter has a mission to support the homeless in achieving sustainable independence through shelter, guidance, education and advocacy.

An impressive 90% of clients who graduate from the shelter and continue on with our community case management program remain in permanent housing during their first year out of the shelter.
